Reading and saved notes
You do not need an account to use our lessons. Saved articles and lessons are kept in local storage in your browser under korean-esy:saved-items. They are not sent to a Korean ESY database or synchronized between devices. You can remove entries on Saved notes, or clear this site’s browser data to remove them all. Quiz selections are used to show feedback on the page.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics is loaded only after you choose “Accept analytics.” If you decline or leave the question unanswered, we do not load the Google Analytics tag. If enabled, Google receives usage information such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate location derived from network information, and browser and device information. Analytics cookies, including names beginning with _ga, help distinguish visits. We use aggregated reports to improve lessons.
We disable Google signals and advertising personalization in this site’s tag configuration. We do not use an account ID or send contact messages to Analytics. Google’s processing is described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services and its Privacy Policy.
Your accept or decline preference is kept in local storage under korean-esy:analytics-choice until you change it or clear site data. The footer’s Analytics settings lets you withdraw consent. Declining stops future analytics loading and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase data already received by Google.
Hosting and external services
Vercel hosts this website and processes technical request information needed to deliver and secure it, including network addresses and browser request details. See Vercel’s privacy policy. External links and share buttons take you to other services with their own privacy practices. We do not embed social feeds or require social sign-in.
Messages and your choices
If you contact us, the information you choose to send is used to respond and investigate your request. Please do not send passwords, identity documents, or sensitive personal information. You may ask about access, correction, or deletion of information you have sent using the contact route above; rights and available responses depend on your location and the information involved.
Advertising and future changes
We have applied for Google AdSense, but no AdSense ad-serving script or ad unit is active in this version of the site. The publisher verification marker and ads.txt file do not themselves load ads. Before enabling advertising, we will update this notice and implement any required advertising consent controls. The analytics choice here is not an advertising consent platform.
Changes to these practices will be reflected here with an updated effective date. Clearing browser data also clears saved notes and your analytics preference.
